I was thinking about probabilities of armour rolls and my trip to Vegas back in January and hanging out at the craps table. You can really help your chances in Blood Bowl by understanding some simple probabilities from a 2D6 roll.
I have these numbers now comitted to memory, which is easy because they all separate by 3’s.
17 – 14 – 11 – 8 – 5 – 2
It’s the probabilities of certain results (rounding) on 2d6
17% – 7
14% – 6, 8
11% – 5, 9
8% – 4, 10
5% – 3, 11
2% – 2, 12
Skills like Mighty Blow and Claw – and variants of the game like Streetbowl, can really make the difference when it comes to Armour rolls when keeping the above probabilities in mind.
Mighty Blow and Claw together = 58% of armour rolls being broken. That’s awesome.
